- What you will learn: Rapido is a powerful Plone add-on that greatly extends the customizations that you can do through the web. We'll explain the building blocks of Rapido: blocks, elements, and Python scripts. From those principles we'll show you how to create Rapido blocks and insert them into Plone pages with Diazo. You'll also learn how to use the Plone API in your Python scripts and how to call blocks from content rules.
- Prerequisites: Basic HTML knowledge.
- Things to bring: A laptop.
Note: This is part of a series of four half-day classes that can (but do not have to) be taken together, in any order. In them you will learn to create content types, a theme, layouts for landing pages, and custom application logic - all in the browser!
