- When: Monday 9-1 & 2-6, Landmark Center East 7
- What you will learn: How to start a new project, how to save information using models, and how to create web pages with routes, views and renderers. You will also learn how to secure your web pages and let users log in. Time permitting, you’ll also learn to use advanced template techniques to make great looking forms and allow users to write markdown entries. Calvin Hendryx-Parker will stop by during the class and do a short demo of “How to make a blog in Plone” as a comparison.
- Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with Python, the command line, and the git source control management system.
- Things to Bring: A laptop with code editor of your choice.
