What does Digital Experience mean to you? Whatever it is, chances are Plone has been doing that for a while. It was there at the beginning of the C3 movement (content, community and collaboration) with a rich feature set supporting membership, fine grained access control, and customizable content, built on a platform with great scalabilty.
The conference will explore the evolution of Plone and the Python Web ecosystem it is a part of. Integrators, developers, designers, and users will all find training classes and talks to suit their interests, and lots of social opportunities for wide ranging discussions of everything from big ideas to technology details.

Venue
Microsoft has generously agreed to host the conference and sprints at their New England Research and Development Center - AKA the NERD Center. This beautiful facility is on the Charles River with a view of downtown Boston. We appreciate Microsoft's support of the open source community!
The NERD Center is in Kendall Square, Cambridge, adjacent to the MIT campus. The morning conference keynotes will be at the MIT Media Lab, a 5 minute walk away. Some of the training classes will also be at MIT, others will be scattered around Boston - see this page for more about the training locations.
Things To Do
Conference attendees should plan to arrive in time to take advantage of the free training classes that will be held on Monday and Tuesday, and to stick around for the sprints over the weekend. Families are welcome and we'll be organizing some group activities. There's a lot to do in Boston, for all ages and tastes - culture, history, music, science, sports - and the New England fall foliage display should be at its peak.
Where To Eat Lunch
You'll be on your own for lunch every day. No matter what venue you're in, a variety of eating options will be available nearby. We've written a guide to the lunch spots.
Exploring Boston at Night
We'll focus on a different Boston neighborhood each night. Each one is full of history and good restaurants. Team up, wander around, enjoy the sights, and have dinner. We've got some recommendations.

Getting There
Boston's Logan Airport (BOS) is a major international airport located across the harbor from Boston proper. It is served by 38 airlines, with direct flights from many European and American cities, and is well connected to the city by public transportation. Accommodations
Boston has many hotels, but this is an exceptionally busy time of year, so attendees are advised to look for accommodations early. Many of the hotels are quite expensive, so consider alternatives like hostels and AirBnB.
Visas
Conference attendees who need Visas should plan early. Do not wait until the last minute before checking the US entry requirements for your country! As a first step, you may need to renew your passport. Please plan accordingly.
